which transition was harder?

hi mommas! i'm curious which transition was hardest for you all. from 1-2 or 2-3 kids? personally i found 1-2 soooooo easy since i knew what to expect but curious about 2-3 since you're adding more to the chaos 🤪 thanks for any input! 😊 my babies are 2.5, 8 months and just found out expecting #3!

I find it logistically more difficult (another child to feed, clothe, diaper, put in a car seat, take out of a car seat, etc), but it overall FEELS easier. My first two are 27 months apart, my second and third are 17 months apart.

My first and second are 6 years apart & my second and third are almost 13 months apart. The transition from 1-2 was harder for me personally, because it felt like I was starting over. It was harder adjusting my 6 year old who was used to being an only child, it was harder figuring out how to divide my attention between the two, it was harder losing sleep all over again lol.. it was just rough until we truly adapted. When I went from 2-3, it was unexpected & totally unplanned, but it still felt easier because I hadn’t gotten out of the baby stage yet. It took less time for our family to adapt than it did when we went from 1-2. I  believe this is the case for us because of the ages. I’ve recently gone from 3-4 & that has been the toughest transition of them all because we have 2 toddlers and a newborn. It’s been 6 weeks & we are still trying to adapt lol.
