Hi, I started taking Alesse on Jan 5th (second day of my period as I swiched time I wanted to take it). When did you start getting side effects from your pill? I noticed my breast are a lot more tender and I'm getting headaches and slight stomach aches. I'm spotting on my period and I noticed Wed my period was heavy and then it swiched to light in the evening, Thursday I had light-spotting.

So my questions again are..

When did you first start getting side effects from birth control?

Is my bleeding normal from starting birth control?
