3 days late - pains bfn

So I’m three days late according to both the apps I use to track my period. I’ve been having on and off period type cramps but not as severe as I normally would. I tested yesterday (15dpo) and it was negative but I didn’t do it first thing in the morning. Im probably having a late period even though it’s never irregular. I don’t want to get my hopes up but has anyone had something like this happen and had a bfp in the end?
