I’m 25 weeks today and there was confusion where they scheduled me with a general doctor instead of my OB due to symptoms I was having, the doctor was confused why I was assigned to her. Long story short she said “I can swab you if you feel comfortable” I said yes, came back positive for BV.

I went to the pharmacy to pick it up and the pharmacist did not want to give me this, started asking if my OB is aware I’m pregnant and said she would not recommend me taking this.

I called my doctors office they have not been able to get ahold of my OB, so THEIR pharmacist said it was fine. I’m so confused and don’t feel so confident taking it now that the pharmacist i always pick up from told me she would not recommend..

any thoughts?
