Im curious if i am overreacting. So a friend of mine, her daughter is suddenly getting married. Im fine either way if im invited or not as i get it, its last minute and in their house. My issue though is that i was told to come by a 3rd person. And they said im invited but the host is so overwhelmed with last minute planning that thsy told another friend to tell me im invited. I Did attend a pre-party thrown by another friend and i attended it because i had a more direct invite from the host of the pre-party. While mingling at thr pre-party, i felt everyone had a direct invite from the brides mom. Also, i was told few weeksago by brides mom to come but only when I texted her a congrats. I stillwas planningtoday to attend the wedding because I don't want drama but hubby was refusing to go so I skipped it...what would you have done?
