I don’t know what’s going on

So back story, I had my son back in 2019, but had to go back on birth control and was regular. My hubby and I decided to go for our second and my period is all out of whack

We tried last month and got a faint positive, but then everything was negative and my doctor confirmed, but if I still didn’t get my period, to come back. So my period came at 4.5 weeks.

So this month we tried again with ovulation tests, but have not gotten a positive test. I tested this morning and read at .70 (at 5 weeks). pregnancy test was negative. I’m tempted to go back to my OB. Any similar stories? Any help is appreciated!
