my baby bit a hole while breastfeeding/nursing

as the picture and title show, he’s bitten a hole, i was unsure to continue feeding him or not but everything on google said to continue and only talked about the discomfort, its swollen, red, hurts all the time and burns, the first picture was yesterday which was a day after it happened but i cleaned it, then the last photo is of today after he’s fed on it this morning and its dried up, i don’t know if its infected or not but it sure hurts!! how do i feed him knowing it’s safe or how do i make it heal faster?? i don’t know if i should use lanolin nipple cream or sudocrem on it or just to leave it and air it out a little? any help please, there’s not much i can find on it. my baby is 8 months 1 week
