Sleeping in the same bed

My bf and I now live in a tiny apartment together. We got a queen bed. The problem is he always puts his legs over the comforter. I don’t mind this bc he always gets hot, but he puts them over my side and he’s heavy to move while sleeping, so I don’t have the freedom to move the blanket on me the way I want. It makes me feel really claustrophobic. Like his legs act like a blockage of the blanket for me, and I’m already on the edge of the bed which I don’t mind I just wish I had the blanket freely. This is really affecting my sleep so much. We tried different blankets but he ended up putting his legs over everything again so I couldn’t move. Anyone have solutions? I’m about to sleep on the couch lol.
