Nexplanon question

Hey all, I got my nexplqnon inserted august 31st, the same day I got my scheduled period. The next day, nothing, and I have not had a period since. I was told 7 days is what it took for my body to be affected by the implant. I was also told to wait 7 days until having sex, in which I waited 17. Still no period and kinda wondering if I should be worried about anything. I did do a test just in case and it looked negative but still wondering if there could still be a chance? What y’all think? My doctor has not been available to answer questions so I’m turning to fellow women 😊
