Are dishwashers for lazy people?

Why do boomers or the older generation get mad when younger generations have some things made easier for them. I’m a millennial and my older parents  called me lazy for using my dishwasher 🤣

I don’t know any one of any age who cares about this. Most of these “generational” issue are made up. Your parents calling you lazy about a dishwasher doesn’t equate to an entire generation being “mad” over something. 
I don’t have a dishwasher and I’m 43. I have never once thought about anyone’s dishwashing methods and been upset.

I've never heard anyone say this. I'll be 50 next month. I have a dishwasher. I usually wash my dishes before I put them in. My parents dont have one because it's just the two of them and they use paper plates most of the time to avoid dirtying dishes. Im sure my mom would take one if there was room in her kitchen for it. Like somebody else said, this isnt a generational thing. It's a personal preference. One that I guess your parents feel strongly about. Lol

Loool. I wash my plates before putting in the dish washer anyway to mainly sterilize.

Well that’s only your parents because mine think it’s stupid to have things like dishwashers (which were made to make life easier, because at one point that was the goal for the world) and not use them. Life isn’t supposed to be all about work and grinding and busting your ass. Like each generation was supposed to help make life and earth easier for the next generations. Now everyone’s all “back in my day we did blah blah” yea buddy why do you want us to suffer because you did? I want my kids to have life easier than I did. That also means if they don’t have to wash dishes by hand, they shouldn’t have to just because I did.

My parents are boomers and they have always had a dishwasher. My grandparents have dishwashers. This is so odd that any generation would be mad over this.  
We are just being more effective with our time

Our generation has to work twice as hard to be able to eat three meals a day and afford a roof over our heads. We are busy working 24/7. We deserve dishwashers lol

I'm almost 48 and don't have a dishwasher, but damn sure wish I did! I would never consider that lazy… Smart and efficient , yes. Lazy, no.

I dont like using diswashers. Ive never seen one get a load of dishes clean unless the person who loaded it washed the dishes with water and wiped completely clear. And at that point, just add soap. It adds like, a whole 5 more minutes to the process??
