Hair changing color when weaning from breastfeeding?

I have been breastfeeding for over a year and I just started weaning and suddenly my roots are so much darker. Did anyone else have this happen?

Yep did it too me. Was a blonde before weaning my third and after weaning her it became light brown. Never went back :(

I didn’t breastfeed but did you know that mother flamingos those their pink when their babies are born? This is a wonderful physical manifestation of how much mother flamingoes give to ensure the survival of their babies. They lose so much nutrition that they will get skinny and lose their pink until their babies are weaned.

Not with weaning but having kids dramatically changed my hair color. It was brown with red tint and now it’s full blown copper red.
