IUD Topic

So I have been fighting BV for a few months on and off . It’s crazy because I haven’t had BV in years but since I’ve had the IUD placement it’s been in and off . Could the IUD cause the BV to stick around with the placement of the string hanging out and leaving bacteria around it .

It’s just I’ve been texted for the same bacteria and it keeps coming back as the same thing and everything else is clear . My doctor seems like she doesn’t wanna make a follow up appointment about my concerns
