Adrenal tumor causing infertility?

Danielle

I’ve had several occasions where I thought I was pregnant. Had positive tests (but positive some days and negative others sometimes +/- throughout each day) never tested positive by blood. Nothing on ultrasound. In January I had my gallbladder removed then had a hernia after which I had surgery for 5 weeks ago. Both CT scans noted kidney cysts and an adrenal tumor. No one really addressed them so I thought it was kind of normal that they note every little thing on the scans. Come to find out at my 2nd post op appt this past Monday it is a concern. I’ve had a lot of back pain and issues that I didn’t even know were symptoms. Going for a mri to see if the adrenal tumor is cancerous and testing for Cushing syndrome etc. Also getting a work up for my kidneys. I was on Dr. Google and adrenal tumors can cause false positive pregnancy tests depending on what hormones are being pushed out at the time due to it. It all makes so much sense now. I just hope whatever it is is treatable. You’re not supposed to get pregnant for almost a year after hernia surgery and now I may be really sick. Worried it’ll never happen now since I’m already 35. Anyone experience anything similar?
