I have a Hudson Cruz.

Can I name our next son River?

Hudson is named after the Hudson River so it’s all I’ll be thinking about.  Is that what other people will think, too?! 😂

Accidentally hit river…I’d go with something else. Think about shouting out both kids names (HUDSON! RIVER!)  or introducing your kids (these are my kids Hudson and River). It’s really hard not to think of the Hudson River when hearing both together. And realistically you’ll be using their names together a lot.

It’s possible that people may be thinking that, but if you love the name, you should use it. I would never let others influence you to not use a name that you love and want to use.
