Is he a Mama's boy?

I think it's great for a man to have a good relationship with his mother. I don't like Mama's boys though. I've been with my boyfriend s couple months and met his mom twice. She was nice. Just very easily distracted and seemed like she always needed to be doing something. My boyfriend loves his mom. I'm just curious if they're too close? I went with his to see her. She was baking a bunch of baked goods for her job Christmas party. She was using whipped cream and my boyfriend behind her and said"Cream me!" And she shot the whipped cream can in his mouth, gave him some, then told him to leave the kitchen unless he's helping. I'm probably just thinking wrong but I found it weird. Why couldn't he just take the whipped cream van himself? Why did he ask his mom to do it? Maybe I should have taken that chance to help her in the kitchen and get to know her and what the deal is. Does anyone see any red flags.
