implantaion or period

so my last period was November 2 I had unprotected sex nov 18 which was supposed to be my ovulation. I’m only going by the app for that by the way & my period isn’t due for four days. I’m wondering could this be implantation bleeding or is this my period it was much heavier than this also. I’m very confused. I thought I would get pregnant. I’m not on any birth control so I’m very surprised I didn’t get pregnant if this is an early period? i’m also cramping on and off like a period as well. last months period was extremely heavy to where i was soaking a maxi pad every 2 hours but this time it seems lighter? last month my period was light until like the next day and then it was extremely heavy
