Liletta IUD insertion

Just got my Liletta placed & i was a nervous wreck! I took 800 mg ibuprofen, 1000 mg tylenol, & one of my muscle relaxers so i wouldn’t tense up.

They offered me the cervical block but i decided to go ahead without it after learning it was about 4 pokes. BABY BYE 👋🏾

Laid back & she started the process… she cleaned my cervix , & the measuring DEFINITELY caused an intense cramp but it was only for a few seconds. I was a little verbal with this part, i was like “ooh, okay” but nothing unbearable.

Keep in mind i’ve had one child & went during my cycle cause they said the cervix is softer at that time so that might’ve helped some. But i was prepared to have my mom drive me home & all & im actually doing well !
