7 weeks fetal pole

Jamye

Hello, I struggle with infertility. I have been diagnosed endometriosis and adenomyosis. I was on birth control for 3 months and then down regulated for 2 months. I then had a fully medicated frozen embryo transfer. It ended up being a chemical. So that was my first period in about 5 months plus it was a miscarriage. Me and my husband decided to get pregnant naturally and we got pregnant right away. I had just switched to a new obgyn who had me keep checking my hcg levels because they were low for how far i should have been but more then doubling every 48 hours. He had me come in for a transvaginal ultrasound at 6 weeks and 4 days. He could see a fetal pole, yolk sac and flickering. He said the fetal pole was measuring to small at 3mm. That i was measuring at 5 weeks in 6 days not 6 weeks and 4days. He had me come back a week later to check the progess. He had the screen on him and said yeah the baby stopped developing and turn the screen to me to show me. He searched and searched but couldnt find the baby again. So he said he would show the picture he had took when the screen was on him and that the fetal pole was still at 3mm. I was on oral progesterone. He told me stop taking it and i will miscarry in 3-4 days. It has now been 11 days. I am still having pregnancy symptoms with no bleeding and no cramps. Should i get a 2nd opinion or do you think its a missed miscarriage or what? Im so confused. I really dont trust that obgyn to go back to him again. He has been in the buisness for a long time but kind of seems like he is new at it. I have a picture of my first ultrasound but he zoomed out so you cant see anything on it.
