Redness around urethra

Last night, I had sex. It was pretty rough. We did use protection. This morning when I took a shower I noticed it was a little sore down there when I was cleaning but nothing out of the ordinary. I decided to look and I noticed I have some redness around my urethra. It kind of looks like bruising. It does not hurt to use the bathroom or anything it's just sensitive to touch. What could be causing this? Should I make an appointment with my GYN?
