Your thought on IUD

I am currently pregnant and doing research on the best birth control method to use for long term after giving birth.

For Context: I have irregular period before giving birth and I don’t like taking pills in general which makes it difficult to take contraceptive pills. (Most time I forget)

I was also taking pills before I got pregnant so I don’t really trust it.

I’m looking deep into IUD, but I’m husband think it has lots of potential crazy side effects and it doesn’t like the idea of me inserting something into my body that it will come with lots of changes and disrupt the natural cause.

So people who have used or (still on IUD), what’s your experience?

And what other birth control options do you recommend.
