SO CONFUSED!!!

Hello, I am 24 days past ovulation and 10 days late. HOWEVER, around 12dpo I spotted very light pink (only on paper) and nothing the rest of the day. The next day, I spotted 2 more times but very light brown and nothing after that. The following days I felt as if aunt flo was coming. She hasn't shown up? I tested today and used 2 diff hcg tests from the dollar store...both negative. Anyone relate? It's frustrating to say the least when youre ttc...I had a little hope.
