Giving birth in the states ?

Hello lovely mamas ... im a canadian and my s/o is actually in the states on a temporary visa ! He cant come to canada . So id love to give birth in the states soo he can be there with me. He does have health insurance / medicaid / i do not since im only on tourist visas when Im in the states . Anyone was in a similar position and been able to either get some kind of insurance in the states or any other option to give birth without ending up with a 35k usd bill ? Any input will he appreciated ❤️
