Am I thinking too much?

I went to the doctors yesterday for a check up as I had a cough, I had a male doctor and the doctor told me to remove my coat and then he just put my shirt all the way up to my shoulders to check my breathing? He didn’t get me any heads up that he was going to put it all the way up.
Would this be considered as harassment?

Poor bedside manner yes. Harassment no. I've had many doctors loft my shirt up or put the stethoscope under my shirt to listen. Usually they give you a heads up though. So ya bad communication on the docs part if he didnt say anything but they can hear clearer with the stethoscope on the skin and if you have a cough they need to listen for anythings that aounds even a little off to catch a potential infection before it gets worse.

Definitely not harrassment. Ive had doctors do this and Ive had doctors listen through my shirt. Im guessing that since you were there for a cough, he wanted to make absolute sure he could here what was going on. If you dont like him to do this, ask if he can listen through your shirt. Im willing to bet her would follow your request. Or find another doctor.
