Bday trip while pregnant??

I was wondering if anyone took a trip while they were pregnant. I will be 26 weeks by the time my birthday comes around and I want to go somewhere warm with a beach. Any suggestions??

I an planning on an overseas trip when I am 6 months pregnant. Wanted to show off my belly to my 94 - year-old grandma :-)

I'm planning on taking a trip for my birthday in March, I'll be 20 weeks. Then in July I'll be taking an even riskier trip to NY for my  "surprise" baby shower at 38 weeks. Daddy isn't coming with so I pray baby stays intact & doesn't make his debut until we get back home.

Oh, and I meant to say, just make sure that wherever you are thinking of going, that there are no restrictions for pregnant ladies. My friend was pregnant and planning trip to either Costa Rica or Puerto Rico (i cannot remember which one) and was told that there was some disease going on there that was bad for pregnant girls without immunity to it. Just do your research ;-) If I were to choose where to go, I would go to Hawaii!!

Just ask your doc. Unless you have compactions during your pregnancy traveling is normally fine
