colposcopy

I have to get a colposcopy & I’m so afraid. It took me a while to get comfortable with regular pep smears & now I have to get a colposcopy and I’m so terrified, I couldn’t get myself to calm down I had a full on panic attack. My dr had to have me rescheduled and prescribed me some xanax  & also got me scheduled with a counselor, my counselor informed me that it’s a phobia for me 😭😔 I feel so embarrassed
