Met a guy

I met this guy when I was out last night he was really nice we got on really well instantly clicked and he dropped me home after. He was very honest with his situation and told me his has a gf but they’re on the rocks and are breaking up. He was respectful to their relationship the whole night. He continued to speak to me throughout the night and even wanted me to go for a walk but I declined the offer. The only reason I accepted the lift home from him was because his sister insisted. We messaged each other goodnight and I haven’t heard from him today. I really want to speak to him should I message him? Apologise for being drunk to start a conversation?
