could I be ovulating early

I just finished my cycle yesterday it was abt 4 days long so yesterday was cd 5 and I took an ovulation test and it was positive?? i don’t have pcos and my cycles are always regular abt 26 days , i’m also not pregnant because I took a test plus my last period was clotty and a little heavy.. I also started taking ashwagandha on cd 1 so i’m a little confused.. i also always ovulate on cd 13

I’ve read on here ladies ovulated right after their period and got pregnant they said it happens especially more commonly in older women.

Well that definitely counts out the older part 😂 have you taken a pregnancy test just to rule it out?

I also read pregnancy can give OPKs a positive.
