My 13 month old has this “burn” on his buttocks and I’m not sure how or where it came from. I’ve been using a&d ointment since I saw it yesterday morning but it looks like it’s getting worse… does this look like a chemical burn?

Even though you’ve been using these diapers and wipes from the beginning I would still change brands. Keep going organic and fragrance free.

Is he breastfed? My daughter kept rashes like this for about a week due to my diet. I stopped eating acidic foods and that helped! Also aquaphor worked better for us than a&d. Have you tried it?

Switch diaper brands and stop wipes until it clears! Warm water and cloth will be fine or a quick bum wash. Try to air it out bare when possible.

It’s the diaper hun that’s exactly how my son was with the pampers diapers and I had to make the change.

My baby eventually grew to have an extreme intolerance for the wipes we were using. We started making our own wipes with viva paper towels, water, coconut oil, and a tiny (like 2 teaspoons) of her Honest baby soap. We also let her skin dry before putting the diaper back on and put purple desitin on the rash. It cleared up within the week!
