Incredibly confused and nervous?

I’m almost a year postpartum (end of January) & breastfeeding. My husband and I have recently stopped preventing due to extenuating circumstances that led us to put our faith in God as to our hopes that my in laws who are poor in health will be able to meet our last baby.

My first postpartum period was November 22nd through 26th, and an ovulation test peaked on December 24th.

What I believed was my period showed up again on December 29th, lasting until January 2nd. Both before & after this “period” (? not sure if that’s what it was at this point), pregnancy tests were stark negative.

That puts me on CD13 today I think? And these tests showed positive within seconds.

I can’t fathom the last time I was bleeding was a miscarriage, as why would tests go from stark negative to this positive after that? Any ideas?

Can’t get in with my dr til hopefully early next week (snowed in at the moment).

No pains or anything that would make me worry. TMI - I did have light pink spotting that showed only when I wiped, but that couldn’t have been more than three days ago. So even if that was implantation, how would tests be this dark?
