Help! what should i do?

So i just found out today that we are expecting our second baby, but my husband left on a 2 month long work trip about 5 days ago. Should i wait to tell him until he returns in march or should i tell him over a video call. For background we are really close and we tell eachother everything as it happens usually but this is a special sitaution and it sucks to have to do it over a call. Any help with ideas or opinions would be great.

Thank you everyone for the input i will be telling him today. I ended up sending him a care package from target they will be delivering to him after work today and i was able to find a big brother sweater i can put on our little one for the call. The pregnancy test was a lot harder to get to him sooner since we are in california and he is currently working in florida, so i will just send him a video clip to open with the moment i found out.

I would say tell him but make it surprising so that it isn’t just a usual call. Maybe send a random pic of the older sibling wearing a big sis/bro shirt to see if he catches on. Or you can wear a shirt that says “Preggers” or something like that and video call him. If possible and you know where he’s staying, you could send a baby basket in the mail including the positive test, a onesie, etc. At the end of the day you could always just pick up the phone and be like “hey babe, it’s happening again.” Orrr, if you know your hubby won’t be upset about it, I also think you could wait and surprise him when he’s back. Don’t mind me, I’m just an indecisive commenter lol, do what you feel would make both of you feel the joy at the announcement. Congrats ❤️
