Anyone else have to wait for ultrasound?

I’ve had my first appointment and it was fine, nothing really happened but they scheduled me for an ultrasound on Feb 12, I’ll be 10 and a half weeks by then and it seriously feels like forever away! It doesn’t help that every day I’m basically in survival mode so it feels like time is already moving so slowwwww. I don’t want to tell anyone until I’ve had an ultrasound but it feels like I’ll be waiting forever!

You can call your local pregnancy resource centers to try and get an earlier ultrasound at one of those locations. I personally would.

The “4 week wait” is second worst to the “2 week wait”. 😆 I called right after finding out (literally at 3 weeks) and the soonest I could get an appointment was 10 weeks. I contact my OB a couple weeks later and there was an opening at 8 weeks! It could be worth trying to call to see if someone cancelled? Unless they told you that you must wait… if so, I’m sorry.

My OB office says the earliest they will schedule an ultrasound is 7w 5d. Mine is schedued on february 7th and ill be 8 weeks 4 days

Same here. My appointment is for Feb 11, they said they only see patients after 8 weeks which is new to me bc this is the same midwives I used with my son and I didn’t have to wait. But I’m super impatient and I already paid for a ultrasound and I was able to see the fetal pole and yolk sac. They gave me a free come back and I have another ultrasound on Monday. Hopefully we see baby!
