Is watching Porn cheating?

I personally don’t qualify my boyfriend watching porn as cheating, but I know that a couple people do. Why would you qualify for us cheating? Do you qualify porn as cheating because it makes you feel insecure? ￼

And I’m saying that as someone that’s okay with porn even though my boyfriend doesn’t watch it lmao

In my current relationship it’s not ‘cheating.’ However I could see, depending on how it’s being used, it being an issue for some people in some relationships, like for example if it’s causing a dip in intimacy. Or if there’s an issue with previous SA and the being exploited industry in general.

In my relationship, it would not be considered cheating. Even if I felt momentarily insecure, which we all do at times, I still would not consider it cheating.

The first time i heard someone say that, i thought it was ridiculous. It's just porn. But then after i thought about it, you are seeing someone else's junk, and getting off on that, instead of going to your partner. I still don't know if id consider it cheating, but i personally don't feel good about doing that anymore.
