Is he too immature to date my daughter

My daughter is 16. Her boyfriend is 17 almost 18. I go to the same college he does but I do not have classes with him. I decided to go back to school. He's a concurrent student so he takes college classes while attending high school. I see him because my comp 1 class is right after his. Comp 1 is filled with a lot of high schoolers. I showed up early and was outside the room waiting for the first comp class to end. The people in there were being weird because the professor said to only punch 2 holes, not 3. They were making something. Some girl said "Aww only two holes I want a 3rd hole.." then other kids started laughing and she made more jokes. Then I heard my daughter's boyfriend say "3 holes are better than 2!" They kept making jokes about "holes" and some other guy said "We know you like 3 holes." Then I heard my daughter's boyfriend say "I am a virgin guys. I'm a good boy!" Then the professor said "I can definitely tell which of my classes are from the high school."

This just seems really immature and my daughter is a mature person. I just feel this boy may be too immature for her
