Sudden high sex drive

My boyfriend cheated last year and has not been interested in spending time together while we were supposed to be working on things. I'm talking sex 3 times in that year. Now all of a sudden he likes me again and is trying to initiate sex every night. Am I wrong to be suspicious, it's like the flip of a switch...
