When to buy the crib??!

I'm currently 5 months and I keep thinking I'm running out of so much time 😥. I keep thinking I need this and I need that like right now. I know for sure no one is going to buy me a crib for my baby shower so I'm just curious when did you guys by your crib ?

Get a crib whenever you want. It's better to get it early. That doesn't mean you have to put it up right away but atleast it'll be there if the baby comes early.

I'm due in 3days an have yet to buy a crib this will be my third baby and to be honest my kids didn't sleep in there cribs till they got about 8mon I bought a Pack and play and he will sleep in that until I feel he is independent enough to stay in his own crib or atleast sleep through the whole night without waking up every 2-3hrs

You don't really need it before 8 months or so. Even if baby comes early, chances are they will be spending time in the hospital until closer to their original due date.

I just got one for Christmas from my mom, I was about 25 weeks when we put it together. I would have started the nursery sooner but it was my husband's office and I needed to wait until he was done with his online classes before we moved it all.

Bought ours when I was maybe 5 1/2-6 months because we saw one we liked on sale.  setting it up is a good motivator for us to work on the nursery!

I'm five months as well, and we just bought ours last week because it was on sale :) we have been purchasing big ticket items as I find good deals on them. I don't think you can be too early with that stuff, but you can definitely be too late! If you found one you like, go ahead :)

I got my crib at 14 weeks pregnant. I don't plan on having the baby in my room for very long, so he will be in his crib pretty quick.

My baby never used hers!! I'm planing on getting a basinet or what ever you call it lol I also still have hers she is only 19. Months old

You have plenty of time :) especially if you keep baby in your room for a while!!
 We got our crib around 34 weeks but didn't buy a crib mattress because we knew we wouldn't have her in there for a while and the one we want is kind of expensive. Babys almost 4 months now and we still haven't bought the crib mattress since she's still in our room lol.
