Fallopian Tube Recanalization
I’ve been trying to have a baby for a couple of years now and in the beginning I thought it just was taking some time. Mind, I’m in my early thirties. After a year I start trying Clomid and the Hgc injections and still nothing happened. I took a mental break then after some time I decided to get a HSG test done and they told me both my tubes were blocked which shocked me and I was so confused as I’ve had a child before 17 years ago and never had any infections. I was so saddened and in disbelief as they also advised me that IVF was my ONLY option so I decided to redo the HSG 6 months later (p.s. very painful) at a different location but unfortunately had the same results. Thankfully the second time around the provider was so sweet and advised me to find a place that takes my insurance and do a Fallopian Tube Recanalization. This test can be tricky as it can cause damage to your tubes if done improperly but I had nothing else to lose since they were blocked anyways. I finally found a location and on 2/24 did my procedure. The provider said it went well and both tubes are now open. I immediately started crying because I thought this would never happen for me again and lost hope. She said I could now start trying again. Im praying that this works and that one day I can finally get a positive. I’ll leave it in Gods hands and hopefully one day I can have a successful update.
