Possible Twins?!

Question

Went in for an early sono (I’m only 6 weeks) bc this pregnancy has felt different than my 4 others annnnnd this is what showed up!

It was a boutique type place so the US tech couldn’t say anything other than recommending I go get an “official” scan done…

But what are your thoughts? & here are some of the notes she made on the images. One clearly had a baby in it with a heartbeat, the other seems to be more behind the first one and she couldn’t get a fully clear image inside it

There’s a reason those places can’t tell you anything. My scan for twins was at 7weeks5days but it was very obviously twins. There was no question or guessing, anyone with functioning eyes could see two. This looks like one to me, but I’m not a professional. None of us can guess. Also I wouldn’t go by any ‘feelings’ the only proof of twins is two on a scan.

I can see you are very anxious about this, which I would be to, my best advice is to wait it out and see, give it a little more time and have your OB order another ultrasound. I’m about to give birth to twins in a few days, I didn’t have any early scans I found out at my 12 week OB appointment, so I’m not much help, but I do think those people who do early ultrasounds don’t really ever give very good medical advice.
