I want to have a baby shower. None of my "friends" offered. My sister in law told me if I ever needed help throwing a party to let her know. I politely asked her thinking she would enjoy it and it would bring us closer together.

She has made no effort at all to get planning started. I have asked her several times what I can help with resulting in no response. I guess I was out of line asking her to throw the shower. Looks like I'm not having one. I'm pretty upset/sad about the whole situation.
