Does anyone know requirements to get your tubes tied?

I'm 22 on my second pregnancy and I don't think I want anymore children. I was wondering what are requirements such as age ect.?

If I had two kids I would want my tied. But I can't cuz I only have one tube now....but in the end it's your choice. You can always get  them un-tied  if you wanted more when older. Good Luck to you

Here in TN you have to be over 21 and have at least 2 kids I was going to get my tubes tied after we had our last daughter (2 now) I'm glad I DIDNT bc we ended up wanting anthor and were  12 weeks pg now :)

I don't think it matters in fact I told my OB my plan for life about children and then ask her if instead of having my tubes tied if I could have a complete hysterectomy and she agreed if that's what I wanted then I can have it

My brother had the snip at about 25 because he and his wife had 3 kids. Usually they won't do it that young but all you can do is ask.

I'm my state Georgia you have to be 26 to get them tied unless there is a medical reason for them to be tied good luck!! :)

I dobout many Drs will want to do that at ur age.... I no ppl who have been turned down in there 30s. But I live in the UK. Why not have an IUD I loved my mirena no periods no symptoms sex without worry... Took it out and was ttc within a few months ( I no u don't want that bit but just saying :)

I'm thinking of using an iud after this pregnancy. I hear they are extremely reliable, and I have several friends who swear by them.

My friend has 4 children and they won't tie her robes until she's over 30 years old. I live in the UK though.
