choking

my boyfriend went to pick up our 1 year old after she fell ( was laying on her back) when he noticed a yellow cap in her mouth, he went to grab it and she sucked it in causing it to go into her throat just enough she turned blue pretty quickly, he was freaking out trying to just pull it out. he passed her to me I turned her over and was hitting her back. she finally started crying so I turned her around and I checked her mouth to see it was unstuck and was able to grab it out.

it did come out with a little bit of blood, is this worrisome?

I’ve never had this happen, when I googled it said to have her seen after any choking episode. ( although I was able to get it out fairly quickly)

She seems to be okay. we gave her some water and she went on her way.
