Hyperemesis?

Does anyone or did anyone ave hyperemesis during pregnancy? Im currently hospitalized and have been for 2 days and the doctors have decided to just treat “whatever I have” as something called hyperemesis. Im not looking for medical advice more so to compare symptoms and then speak with a patient advocate following that. My gut is telling me it’s HG based off google but the doctors are refusing to listen right now and I just need facts & real life events to back up what my gut is saying.
