Midwives in UK will not help you UNLESS you are 16 weeks pregnant

So here in the UK I found out due to having issues with my pregnancy at 10 weeks that midwives cannot give you their advise or help UNLESS you are 16 weeks pregnant. I was asked to see my doctor to be REFERRED for a scan despite me telling them I was in pain and bleeding. I was told to wait 2 DAYS before a scan and after waiting for one day the pain got so bad I went to hospital , started heavily bleeding on the way and passed the baby and they confirmed I’d had a miscarriage. The bleeding went through numerous pads, blankets, my trousers and coat and car seat and kept going ! I have never been so scared and felt so let down by the health system in my entire life.
