Jaundice in babies.

FTM… My little one came 4 weeks early, passed all her tests in the hospital so they let us come home. Her bilirubin tests at the hospital was 6 point something, so they told us she was in the clear for jaundice. We were sent home a day after giving birth and the next day after that is when I noticed the whites of her eyes being yellow, along with her gums and under her tongue. I had her pediatrician redo her bilirubin tests and her levels are now 19.1. They told me she needs to start photo therapy asap and their person would give me a call the next day (I have not heard from them yet and will be calling tmr) with that being said she is a week old tomorrow and I just need some peace of mind that she’s okay for now and isn’t gonna get some sort of brain damage with it being this long.. I have a big window in my living room that gets bright indirect sun, plus her bassinet in my bedroom will occasionally get sun light shining in and she takes a nap or 2 in there during the day. Please tell me I’m just over thinking and everything will be alright.
