Postpartum Outings

When did you leave the house for an outing, such as a wedding, after giving birth? (with and without baby) Someone VERY close to me (family!) is getting married 2 weeks after my due date but they don’t know that yet because i’m still early on and haven’t announced.

On top of that, I know they are going to ask me to be a bridesmaid and I can’t say no without telling everyone i’m pregnant so they all understand the reason. 🥲 i’m worried she’s going to ask me before i’m ready to announce at 12 weeks.

This is a tricky situation! What would you do?
