If you opted for a membrane sweep, how did it impact your labor/birth?

This is baby#5, got a membrane sweep today at 37w6d. I’m 2cm, barely effaced. 
My last membrane sweep did not bring on labor within 48 hours, it was more like a week later.
Just curious if anyone wants to share…
I opted for it and yes I’m aware of the risks/pros involved.

Had one with my second baby and it didn’t do anything for me.

Sweeps literally never worked for me. I’m pregnant with my 4th. Two of my babies came 9 & 10 days late!! 😳 But I know some women have better luck with them.

I had two membrane sweeps a week apart with my first child and they did nothing for me, but I would still try it again with my current pregnancy. I feel like it’s worth a shot.
