Ready to cuss the drs office out!!

I’m 33 weeks pregnant with my little sugarplum, due to being high risk I have to see 2 drs my ob and a specialist, my iron is low so they added on a hematologist. That’s 3 every week!!!! My job is being a pain because even though “ my health is important” the “ company still needs to run and me being gone 1 day a week is a lot”

So my Hr rep said to put in for medical leave. I’m to be induced on July 2nd. So I requested June 23 to be my last day at work. I don’t want to return until Sept 15 which is 12 weeks after the birth. So here’s the issue:

My drs office charges $20 per form they fill out. So forget the fact that I see yall every week, and my insurance pays you. I still have to pay for the form. Okay- paid

Then I have to call to follow up for you to then say I didn’t pay for it to be expedited so I have to wait up to 2 weeks for it to be completed. It then has to be sent to my job to be approved and submitted. I ask when will I get it if I pay expedited… they say today.

So another $10 for the same form to simply be signed. That’s it, just a $30 signature.

You then call me back to say I put 12 weeks down instead of 6! This is when I lose it!!

First- this is my body and my health. It took my 9 months to create this child, explain why I would rush out the house at 6 weeks? Aren’t I still healing? What about breastfeeding? How about sleeping? So just drop this load and get back to work!!!

I told her to sign the form! The way I have it. They don’t tell me when I’m ready to go back, I should be the one telling them. Don’t they work for me? I’m pregnant, tired, working full time, full time mom to 3, feet hurt, back hurts, head hurts, pressure creeping up daily, job plucking my nerves, emotional and not in the damn mood!!!

She says she understands and will try to complete the form today. For some reason I want a new Dr! I just don’t want to be bothered anymore.

Am I crazy or nah…….
