Are headaches everyday normal? 15w

Question

I’ve been having headaches almost every day for two weeks. I went to the OB and she told me to up my water intake. I have but I haven’t noticed a huge difference. My headaches do go away momentarily but throughout the day they get worse. Some days feels worse than others.

My headaches started at 14-15 weeks and were pretty severe. At least 3 days a week they were full blown migraines. Couldn’t even open my eyes because my eyes were sensitive to light. 
I tried water, electrolyte drinks, caffeine and nothing worked. When I told my midwife I was struggling to function she prescribed a headache pill. It’s the only thing that worked. The good thing is that the headaches became wayyyyy less frequent at 16 weeks. I get maybe 1 bad migraine a week but that’s it. I’ve probably only had to take the prescription maybe 5 times.
