I've had my female indoor cat for two years, I also have an 6 and half year old shepherd who grew up with my 6 year old daughter. Anyway, the cat hates the baby. She hisses at her, tries to lay on her bedding, at one point we found her laying on the baby's chest, almost smothering her. We don't want to rehome her, but we are just completely out of ideas. Nothing has changed. We brought in all the new baby furniture in at a steady pace with time for her to adjust and the affection we give her hasn't changed. Her feeding routine hasn't changed... I'm just at a loss. She's our first cat, and we love her very very much.
