You guys don't need a big spiel. There's a lot to tell but really the title sums it up! It's almost as if she's the one having the kid.

She wants to be the one to tell my husbands side of the family. He never considered how or when to tell but I mentioned I wanted something simple like a pair of baby shoes on a calendar mailed out.

My question is, is this something worth fighting for or should I just let the woman have her way? My poor husband is getting it constantly from her how ostracized and terrible we are making her feel.
