Hair coloring?

I've heard 2 different answers (like a lot of things in pregnancy) but is it ok to color your roots during pregnancy? Is there a trimester I should avoid more than others?

I've done hair for 9 years. You can color it when ever you would like. Id encourage you to get it professionally done and not sure a box. The only thing that may happen is your hormones effect the color but it won't harm your baby at all. I don't actively work in a dalon anymkre Nd I color my hair at home in my bathroom often and we're all good!

The hair dye won't affect your baby, your hormones could affect the hair dye and result in a wrong colour or the colour result not lasting as long as it usually would. My SIL used to do hers bright red but during pregnancy the colour wouldn't hold as well, her son is 3 and her hair is finally back to normal now

I'm waiting until the second trimester. I heard its OK whenever but I just feel better about doing it then. Four more weeks 😉
